This was great!! I went later in the evening (the last time slot) and we practically had the place to ourselves! No line whatsoever. We went right up…and the views of the city & the Eiffel Tower are spectacular. There are a lot of spiral steps so be mindful of that! The employees are super friendly as well! A Paris must.

Well worth joining the queue that always seemed to be present to climb the Arc and see the Champs-Elysees and other sights from the top. A lot of steps as you would expect but a good experience - took about 1 hour.

Roman-inspired, it was dedicated in 1836 by King Louis-Philippe to the armies of the Revolution and the Empire. The Unknown Soldier was buried here in 1921. It is a fair walk up the Champs Eylsees to the site but well worth it. As luck would have it, the arch was closed the day visited due to a 'social movement'. While the ascent gets unique views over Paris, there is no better view than looking at it near the massive roundabout surrounding it.
