Last time we were in Paris this place was closed for a function so we didn’t want to miss it. Wow it was mind blowing beautiful. Better than expected. The dome and the arched areas are so elegant and very classical in style. Seeing Foucault’s Pendulum that keeps time with the spinning of the earth was super cool. The huge murals and sculpture were fascinating. Then for something different, go down to the crypt to see the famous people like Voltaire, Víctor Hugo, Emile Zola and Alexander Dumas buried here.
It looks like a greek or roman building and yet houses the crypts of some very familiar names - Victor Hugo, Voltaire and Dumas to name a few.
